1. Anti-oxidation and anti-free radical effects
Phloretin has strong oxidation resistance, and its antioxidant concentration for oil is between 10 and 30 ppm, which can remove free radicals in the skin. In the aspect of immunosuppression, phloretin is a competitive inhibitor of sodium D- glucose cotransporter. Because it can increase the fluidity of lipid bilayer in cells, it can increase the types and activities of drugs transported across the membrane.
