Product Description

Bacillus Coagulans is rod-shaped and blunt at both ends. It is a Gram positive bacterium, with terminal spores, no flagella, can decompose the sugars to L-lactic acid, and belongs to homotype lactic acid fermentation bacteria. Bacillus coagulans can regulate the balance of intestinal flora, inhibit the proliferation of intestinal undesirable microorganisms, and is resistant to acid, heat and salt and easy to preserve. It is widely applied in feed additives of poultry, livestock, aquaticanimals, ruminants, etc.
Bacillus coagulans (3)

Bacillus coagulans, also known as Lactobacillus sporogene, is a Gram-positive bacterium that can produce lactic acid. This bacterium is a bacillus, about 0.9*3-5 microns in size, has catalase, and is facultatively anaerobic in nutrition. When it grows to the stationary phase, Gram staining may be negative, and the results of Voges Proskauer and methyl red (MR) in the IMViC test are both positive.

Bacillus coagulans is Gram-positive and belongs to the phylum Firmicutes. Bacillus coagulans belongs to the genus Bacillus in taxonomy. The cells are rod-shaped, Gram-positive, with terminal spores and no flagella. It decomposes sugars to produce L-lactic acid and is a homolactic fermentation bacterium. The optimal growth temperature is 45-50℃, and the optimal pH is 6.6-7.0.

Bacillus coagulans is not an intestinal microorganism. Its physiological role in the intestine is the result of secreting a variety of beneficial substances and synergizing with other probiotics in the intestine. It is not the result of a certain substance. After Bacillus coagulans enter the stomach orally, they are activated by gastric juice, the spore coat expands, the spore shape increases, the water content increases, and the metabolism speeds up. When Bacillus coagulans enter the duodenum, its spores germinate into vegetative cells. After entering the small intestine, the vegetative cells begin to grow and reproduce, and one generation reproduces in about 30 minutes . Bacillus coagulans are facultative anaerobic bacteria. When they enter the intestine, they consume free oxygen and reproduce in the intestine, which is beneficial to the growth of anaerobic microorganisms lactic acid bacteria and bifidobacteria, thereby regulating the balance of intestinal microbial flora, improving the body's immunity and disease resistance, and reducing the occurrence of intestinal diseases. During the process of intestinal reproduction, Bacillus coagulans also secrete amylase and protease to promote the body's digestion and absorption of nutrients; the B vitamins, amino acids, short-chain fatty acids and other substances they produce can increase the peristalsis speed of the small intestine, thereby improving the digestive function of the intestine.

In addition, after settling in the intestines, Bacillus coagulans can also produce a large amount of antibacterial substances such as coagulin and L (+) lactic acid that inhibit harmful bacteria. Therefore, it has a certain therapeutic effect on gastrointestinal inflammation.
